Academic Affairs

Academic Affairs (AA) works to bridge the gap between the interests of the undergraduate student body and the remainder of the university with regards to the academic sphere. This semester,  in collaboration with key members of the Academic administration such as the Vice Provost for Education and other university governing bodies such as Faculty Senate, we will transparently

  • Continue to support and develop the initiatives of past Academic Affairs committees such as the Faculty Student Lunches program and the Nightline program;
  • Identify areas for improvement within the academic climate, such as the academic advising units, by engaging with our constituents through a newly designed outreach initiative and student forum as well as following the passions of our members;
  • Advocate for the implementation of solutions from the student perspective within written proposals and white papers endorsed by Senate’s general body, including our Course Information White Paper.
